Every winter, humpback whales migrating from Siberia arrive at the waters surrounding the Kerama Islands (about 50 minutes from the Okinawan mainland by ship) to breed. Witnessing the enormous creatures moving effortlessly through the water and breaching and blowing right before your eyes is an unforgettable experience! Whale watching tours have a high sighting success rate and are a much recommended winter activity.

Although the weather may be nice and warm on land, there might wind and ocean spray will make it chilly out on the water. Be sure to dress warmly and wear proper footwear to avoid slipping.

※We may ask refuse boarding of small children or people with limited mobility depending on sea conditions.
※We recommend that you wear proper shoes to avoid accidents as decks get slippery when wet during the tours.
※We recommend that you take seasickness tablets before your tour as seas are rough during winter.

please respect the following rules.
Watch out for people or objects in the water when diving.
Never swim under any recreational equipment; it is very dangerous.
Children under 6 years old will not be admitted. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Do not dive or slide headfirst. Please depart your landing zone upon entering the water.
Outside equipment or objects are prohibited.
Do not bring food or drinks into the park.
People under the influence of alcohol will not be admitted.
Smoking is prohibited.
You will not be admitted under the influence of drugs.
For safety reasons, pregnant women may not use the park.
Jewelry or accessories such as watches, keys or objects with sharp edges are not allowed.
Please note that we are not responsible for damaged, lost, stolen or water-damaged personal property in or out of the park.
Admittance may be denied, if park staff determines that nails, jewelry, etc. pose a risk of injury. Removal of nails within the park is not allowed.
Visible tattoos or tattoo stickers are not allowed in the park. Admission is allowed only if visible tattoos are covered with rash guards.
Only those who complete sign-up procedures will be admitted.
You must be 120 cm or taller.
You must be able to swim.
You may be asked to leave by park staff or a lifeguard if your behavior is determined to be risky or offensive to other patrons.
You must wear a life jacket.
You are advised to protect yourself from sunburn.
